The London AI Hub: Driving Global AI Leadership
Announced earlier this month, in conjunction with the Government’s AI Opportunities Action Plan, the London AI Hub is an initiative created by Tech Nation (part of Founders Forum Group), Europe’s leading AI group Merantix, and Onfido Founder Husayn Kassai.
Inspired by global success stories such as Paris’s Station F and Berlin’s Merantix AI Campus, the initiative will provide a focal point for AI innovation, featuring a dedicated calendar of events, a best-in-class coworking environment, and a commitment to responsible AI development.
Techspace Goswell Road will be the official home of the London AI Hub, which aims to become the epicenter of AI collaboration and innovation from February 2025.
Occupying the second floor of the new site, the London AI Hub will serve as a collaborative space for the UK’s thriving AI community, uniting entrepreneurs, academics, policymakers, and investors. With London hosting over 1,300 AI-focused companies and a 360,000-strong AI workforce, the Hub aims to support the city’s ambitions to become the AI capital of the world.
Carolyn Dawson, CEO of Founders Forum Group, said: “The London AI Hub marks a huge step for both London and the UK in shaping the future of AI. Situated in Techspace’s best-in-class workplace, the AI Hub will empower and mobilize the UK’s AI community to ensure the UK remains a leading innovator on the global tech stage.”
Peter Kyle, the UK’s Secretary of State for Science, Innovation, and Technology, said: "The launch of the London AI Hub is another great step for the UK’s AI sector, which is continuing to lead on the global stage – with our new blueprint setting out how we will turbocharge the technology.”

The building is already home to high-growth innovative companies such as HR software scaleup, Harriet, forward-thinking businesses like Culted and Whalar, and Husayn Kassi’s very own AI startup, Quench AI. In turn illustrating the city’s demand for premium, flexible workspaces that empower teams to thrive.
Jonathan Bevan, CEO at Techspace, adds: “The launch of Goswell Road is a significant milestone for Techspace, representing our commitment to creating workspaces that inspire and empower innovation. As the official home of London’s AI Hub, we are proud to align with the UK government’s vision for growth and technological leadership.
