The Loading Bay, a versatile event space in the heart of the tech ecosystem

The Loading Bay is a 2,000 sq ft venue known for its industrial design, ideal location in the heart of the London tech ecosystem and views over Mark Square. Flooded with natural light thanks to the double-height south facing windows, your guests will instantly feel at ease in The Loading Bay.

With space for 100 seated or 250 standing the open plan space is perfect for hosting workshops, product launches, company away days, networking events, Christmas party and small conferences (just like Flexworld’s event).

The brief: create a successful hybrid event

‍

This year was the second edition of FlexWorld, but for the first time, the event was in a hybrid setting. Bringing together experts from hybrid workplace management and coworking spaces, to explore the cross section between them.

OfficeRnD were looking for a venue that could accommodate the registration, conference and drinks reception all in the same space. The split-level, with the mezzanine and kitchen, made it the perfect option for their event.

A full takeover of the space

Flexworld’s conference was the perfect example of a full takeover, utilising The Loading Bay’s versatility to create an unforgettable guest experience, with:  

• Flexworld branding and merch (bags, notepads, mugs, pens) for guests. 
• Hybrid setting and live streaming. 
• Cocktail bar transforming the mezzanine into a vibrant networking area.
